Mental health care in Michigan should be easy to reach, whether you live in Metro Detroit or the Upper Peninsula. At Conscientia Health, you can see a psychiatric provider at our Troy office, just off I-75 at Big Beaver Road, or by secure video from anywhere in the state. In addition, our team answers the phone 7am–10pm daily.
We treat: anxiety · depression · ADHD · bipolar disorder · PTSD · grief · weight management · suicide prevention
Michigan spans two peninsulas and 83 counties, so the nearest psychiatric office can be a long drive, especially up north and in the UP. Also, many practices have waitlists. As a result, it is easy to put off care. That is why we offer an office in Troy and video visits anywhere in Michigan.

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that usually starts in late fall or early winter. According to the NIMH, it is more common in people who live farther north, where winter days are shorter. Symptoms often last 4–5 months. However, SAD is treatable, for example with light therapy, talk therapy or medication. So if winter hits hard, tell your provider.
Unlike a directory, we do not send you somewhere else. Instead, we are a team of psychiatric providers who diagnose, treat and follow up with you over time. Because psychiatry is our focus, each visit starts with your story rather than a form. We also look at sleep, physical health, medication and daily habits, so your plan fits your whole life.
Above all, care should fit your life, not the other way around. So you choose how to be seen, and you can switch later.
Prefer to stay home? Then book a secure video visit from anywhere in Michigan. This helps most if you live in the rural north or the UP, or when winter roads are bad.
Would you rather meet face to face? Then visit us at 888 W Big Beaver Rd Suite 780, Troy, MI 48084, just off I-75 at Big Beaver Rd. You can also switch to video as your week changes.
Mental health challenges rarely announce themselves, but instead creep in as exhaustion, distance from loved ones or trouble focusing. So we start with a full evaluation, and then your provider explains what is going on in plain words.
