Ribbon-Cutting Held on World Suicide Prevention Day
RED BANK, N.J., Sept. 12, 2026 – Red Bank Catholic High School officially opened a new Wellness Room on its Broad Street campus today, with a ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony marking the next chapter of the school’s student wellness initiative, developed in partnership with Conscientia Health.
The event fell on World Suicide Prevention Day, within National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, timing both organizations say reflects their shared commitment to student mental health.

Principal Dr. Vanessa Pereira, Tony Onoriode, COO of Conscientia Health, Daniel Adighije, and Red Bank Catholic students cut the ribbon on the new RISE Wellness Room, a dedicated space for student mental health.
The room opens on World Suicide Prevention Day as a quiet place for care, conversation, and support.
A partnership that began with one email now stands as a room students can walk into when they need it.
Expanding Student Wellness Support
The Wellness Room is part of a broader initiative between RBC and Conscientia Health that includes:
- A wellness curriculum focused on mental health awareness, resilience, and coping strategies
- Educational programming workshops
- Expanded support pathways for students and families
“This is about creating a culture where wellness is foundational to student success,” said Nicole Wall, RBC Student Assistance Counselor.
“As RBC continues to expand opportunities and strengthen student support systems, we remain committed to exceeding the needs of the whole child academically, spiritually, and emotionally.”
A Shared Commitment to Student Mental Health
“We didn’t choose today’s date, the timing found us,” said Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim), Founder of Conscientia Health, who has led the partnership.
“But it’s a reminder of why this work matters. Too many young people carry real struggles quietly, and too many adults around them don’t know until it’s a crisis. This room is one answer to that: a place where a student can be seen and supported before things reach that point. We’re proud to build that alongside Red Bank Catholic.”
About the RISE Wellness Room
The Wellness Room includes:
- A private consultation space
- A group and workshop area for peer support sessions
- A self-guided check-in tool connecting students directly with a clinician when needed
The initiative is part of RISE by Conscientia, a program extending Conscientia Health’s integrated care model into school communities.
