A LITTLE ABOUT Karen Paster

Karen Paster is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorders, and Schizophrenia. She is dual-certified in Family Medicine. She obtained a Masters in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Post Master’s Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Purdue Global University in Indiana. She has worked in multiple settings, including inpatient medical/surgical and psychiatric settings, outpatient chronic pain management, outpatient forensic psychiatry, and psychiatric crisis residential treatment programs. She has had the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients. Karen’s passion is helping patients to overcome diversity, to grow, and thrive in personal and professional relationships, and to have a healthy perception of themselves. She does this through therapeutic intervention and medication management. She enjoys providing education and knowledge to her patients, which empowers them to take part in helping to develop a personalized and effective treatment plan.
