A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Jennings brings a unique dual perspective from both critical care medicine and behavioral health. His extensive medical background includes experience in the ICU, PCU/IMCU, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Subacute, and Long-Term Care facilities, with a specialization in critical care. His psychiatric expertise encompasses inpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, crisis response centers, and outpatient psychiatric settings. This comprehensive background allows him to seamlessly integrate medical knowledge with psychiatric care, understanding how physical health impacts mental wellness and effectively managing complex co-existing conditions.

Jennings specializes in providing comprehensive psychiatric services for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and addiction medicine. Through secure platforms, he delivers personalized care with advanced skills in medication management, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and therapeutic communication. His approach combines evidence-based treatment with cultural competency, always guided by individual unique goals, values, and lived experiences.

As a first-generation Nigerian American, Jennings is dedicated to exceeding expectations and becoming an expert in his field. Coming from a background where mental health issues are stigmatized, he developed a deep commitment to promoting openness in mental health discussions while fighting against the stigma of addiction and psychiatric mental health disorders. His primary goal is to integrate behavioral health with medicine to provide genuine holistic care, addressing the interconnected nature of physical and psychological wellness.

Beyond clinical practice, Jennings serves as a Nurse Educator, mentoring upcoming nursing students and youths to achieve their professional goals. He is an active member of the Nigerian Nurses Association in New Jersey (NANNNA), the Nigerian Nurses Association of Nurse Practitioners in New Jersey (NANNPU), and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), demonstrating his commitment to both cultural heritage and professional excellence.

Faith plays a foundational role in how Jennings serves others, giving him the unique ability to combine physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in his patient care approach. He believes in treating everyone with dignity, empathy, and compassion, recognizing that healing encompasses the whole person – mind, body, and soul.
